I, the killer of earth and my own son

                                          


When I was young, earth’s destroyer the Global warming was making its effects. But I was complacent. Now after 21 years i.e. year 2030 I am to atone my transgressions against nature but it's futile. It’s too late.


It’s year 2030.
I was an employee of government of India posted somewhere in the coastal areas of Tamilnadu. We people of coastal area were losing our land because of the rise in sea level. But we were overlooking climate change. Last week’s catastrophic sea storm shattered the lives of coastal people .Many of our loved ones were exterminated. Now I am a widower with a 13year old son. There the people of coastal area are speechless, thoughtless but tearful, so my innocent son and me. We are helpless…..Is this climate change?!

My son and I shifted to our natal place somewhere in Uttar Pradesh. Now we are depended on agriculture for livelihood. But we see there is no water to irrigate our fields. The scorching sun is making the earth parched, within the span of 2 to 3 months entire area is victim of famine. No food, no water. Only dying of hunger .Is this Global warming?!

My only son got bedridden .So my intimate friend called us on to his place somewhere in Delhi. In the time we were assembling our shattered our life, precipitation prey us on. Whole Delhi is inundated, home of diseases, converted into morgue. My darling son got seriously ill .Is this climate change?!

I am like a crippled witnessing my son dying of nature’s fury. It’s a midnight 12:30 .My son is dreaming, talking to an Angel and got to know my wrongdoing against nature. He is murmuring, crying while sleeping to death, my dear father what were you doing 21 years back? Why have you spoiled this nature, this planet? Why did you not concern about climate change? At last he says I am not the victim of climate change but of yours. And he slept forever. This is climate change!
